Turkish clubs start free youth football academy trials in Manisa and Trabzon

Manisa FK announced free academy selection trials to discover new talent for Turkish football. Candidates must register at the Tarık Almış Sports Facility, bring a copy of their ID and a 2026 health report, and attend the trials at Tevfik Lav Sports Facility in Yunusemre. The club’s coaches will evaluate participants, and successful players will be contacted by the academy director.

In Trabzon, the Barva Football Academy opened its doors with a ceremony attended by Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç. The academy offers free trial training for children aged 5‑14, emphasizing not only football skills but also social, emotional and personal development. The initiative aims to give every child a place on the field, building confidence and teamwork alongside sport.

Both projects are part of a broader effort by Turkish football clubs to strengthen youth development and provide accessible, no‑cost training opportunities for children across the country.
