Turkish companies compete for $9.2 billion Dubai metro project
Four Turkish construction firms—Doğuş İnşaat, Limak, MAPA, and IC İçtaş—are participating in the bidding process for Dubai’s $9.2 billion Gold Line metro project. The companies have joined three of the six international consortia that submitted pre-qualification applications for the massive infrastructure expansion.
One consortium includes Doğuş İnşaat alongside Alstom, China Railway Engineering Corporation, and National Projects Construction. Limak and MAPA have partnered with China’s CRRC, while IC İçtaş is part of a group featuring Siemens and Egypt’s Hassan Allam. Other major global entities, including Hitachi, Larsen & Toubro, and PowerChina, are also involved in the competitive tender process.
