Turkish companies Trioteks İplik and Havin Gıda declared bankrupt

Two Turkish companies, operating in the textile and food sectors, have been declared bankrupt after courts rejected their concordat requests intended to restructure debt.

Trioteks İplik Tekstil Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, a textile company based in Istanbul's Bağcılar district, had its concordat request rejected by the Istanbul 2nd Civil Court of First Instance. The company, which has operated since 2014 and specialized in cotton, synthetic, and elastane yarns with international recycling certifications, saw its legal protections and commissioner oversight terminated following the bankruptcy ruling on September 3, 2026.

In Izmir, Havin Gıda İnşaat Malzemeleri ve İnşaat Turizm Tekstil Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi also faced bankruptcy. The Izmir 1st Civil Court of First Instance rejected the company's concordat application, leading to a formal bankruptcy declaration. The court lifted previous precautionary measures and terminated the duties of the concordat commissioner. The decision is subject to appeal within two weeks.
