Turkish Competition Authority approves multiple mergers and acquisitions

The Turkish Competition Authority has issued a series of decisions approving various mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures across multiple industries, including media, food, and industrial sectors.

Key decisions include the conditional approval for Paramount Skydance Corporation to acquire sole control of Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. Additionally, the Authority permitted CVC Capital Partners Plc to acquire a 90.1% stake in the food ingredients business of International Flavors & Fragrances Inc.

Other approved transactions involve the formation of a joint venture between UPM-Kymmene Corporation and Sappi Limited, as well as a merger involving Indovida India Private Limited and EPL Limited. The Authority also cleared the transfer of Hebei Mauri Food Co. Limited to the AB Mauri Yihai Kerry Investment Company Limited joint venture.
