Turkey's Capital Markets Board Approves IPOs for Five Companies
Turkey's Capital Markets Board (SPK) gave approval for the public offering of five companies: Orzaks İlaç ve Kimya (offering price 69 TRY per share), Ekim Turizm (30.26 TRY), Soho Giyim ve Enerji (15 TRY), İsvea Seramik ve Banyo Ürünleri (20.90 TRY) and Golda Gıda (9.20 TRY). The board also authorized a capital increase of about 415 million TRY for İş Girişim Sermayesi Yatırım Ortaklığı and approved bond issuances and new investment funds for several financial institutions.
In the same weekly bulletin, SPK imposed administrative penalties totaling 20.7 million TRY on Girişim Elektrik Sanayi Taahhüt and Europower Enerji for omitting ongoing litigation details from their prospectuses, and levied additional fines amounting to over 24.8 million TRY on other companies and four individuals for similar disclosures. These measures were taken to protect investors and ensure transparency in the capital‑market process.
