Turkish courts issue legal notices regarding property disputes and expropriations

The Sivas 4th Civil Court of First Instance is conducting a trial regarding the determination of ownership for improvements on a land parcel in the Başbüyük Village neighborhood. Expert reports indicate that various structures, including a house, water tanks, a barn, and a bakery, along with numerous fruit and coniferous trees, have a combined value of 2,508,820.53 TL. Google Maps imagery was used to assess the construction timelines of the residence and water tanks.

In a separate matter, the Yatağan 2nd Civil Court of First Instance has issued expropriation notices on behalf of the Turkish Electricity Distribution Inc. (TEDAŞ). The notices involve multiple land parcels in the Kavak and Kaplancık neighborhoods of the Yatağan district in Muğla. These legal proceedings involve claims for property rights and easement rights across several different plots and defendants.
