Turkish courts rule on divorce, adoption and child abuse cases

The Konya Family Court (7th) issued a decision in a contested divorce between Mehmet Aday and Iranian national Faezeh Khakbaz Moureshki, ordering service abroad and detailing fees and attorney costs.

The Istanbul Anadolu 14th Family Court processed an adoption petition by Hakkı Çeliker and Kadriye Tuğçe Çeliker, requesting joint adoption of a minor, a name change to "Mustafa Hasan Çeliker," and allocation of court and attorney expenses to the municipal defendant.

The Hatay 5th Heavy Penal Court sentenced Novfa Abid and his daughter Fatima for qualified child sexual abuse and deprivation of liberty, imposing a term of five years, six months and twenty days in prison and outlining the procedure for appeal to the Adana Regional Court of Appeal.
