Turkish Cypriot Municipalities Union marks 43rd anniversary

Mahmut Özçınar, President of the Güzelyurt Municipality and the Turkish Cypriot Municipalities Union, issued a message marking the 43rd anniversary of the Union's founding. Established on September 12, 1983, the Union aims to strengthen cooperation and solidarity among municipalities, develop institutional structures, and find collective solutions to common problems.

Özçınar emphasized that the Union, which includes 18 municipalities, works to provide high-quality and modern services through collective intelligence and cooperation. He stated that the organization remains committed to making municipalities more powerful, effective, and sustainable to ensure a more livable future for society.
