Turkish defense firms enter Defense News Top 100 list
Five Turkish defense companies have been included in the Defense News Top 100 list for 2026, based on their 2025 defense sales. The combined revenue for these five firms reached approximately $14.9 billion.
ASELSAN led the Turkish group, climbing from 43rd to 40th place globally with defense revenues of $4.46 billion, a 26% increase from the previous year. TUSAŞ ranked 48th with $3.65 billion in revenue. ARCA Savunma made a significant debut at 53rd place, following a 4.6-fold increase in revenue to $3 billion. ROKETSAN rose to 64th place with $2.37 billion, and MKE secured the 81st position with $1.42 billion.
On the global stage, Lockheed Martin maintained its first-place position with $72.1 billion in defense revenue. Other top-ranking companies included RTX in second place ($46 billion), General Dynamics in third ($39.4 billion), Northrop Grumman in fourth ($37 billion), and BAE Systems in fifth ($36 billion).
