Turkish Deputy Justice Minister visits Uzbekistan for legal cooperation

Turkish Deputy Justice Minister Burak Ceyhan conducted a series of official visits to Uzbekistan to strengthen judicial and academic cooperation between the two nations.

During meetings with Uzbek Justice Minister Akbar Tashkulov, discussions focused on international arbitration, mediation, and the potential for joint legal structures within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States. Proposed areas for institutional collaboration include the creation of common unions for notaries and bar associations.

In the academic sphere, Ceyhan met with officials from the Tashkent State University of Law. The delegation reached a preliminary agreement to organize a Turkey-Uzbekistan Law Forum to enhance communication between legal institutions and academic circles in both countries.
