Turkish officials honored with farewell ceremonies in several districts

Local authorities in Turkey organized farewell programs for judges, prosecutors and district governors who were reassigned under the 2026 HSK decree. In Gölbaşı (Adıyaman) a ceremony attended by the district governor, the chief public prosecutor and law‑enforcement officials marked the transfer of several judges and prosecutors to new postings. Similar events were held in Çıldır (Ardahan) for Kaymakam Barış Aytürk, in Kırıkhan for Kaymakam Ayhan Akpay, in Aşkale (Şanlıurfa) for Kaymakam Emre Oğuztürk, and in Vezirköprü (Samsun) for Kaymakam Özgür Kaya, each featuring speeches of gratitude, presentation of plaques or honorary certificates, and group photographs. Erzurum Adliyesi also hosted a large farewell dinner for judges and prosecutors moving to different jurisdictions, with senior judicial and prosecutorial figures in attendance. The gatherings emphasized the officials’ contributions to local justice and administration and wished them success in their new assignments.
