Turkish districts Belen, Eskişehir join Erasmus+ education projects

Belen District officials took part in the EU‑funded Erasmus+ "FutureCraft: Building Employable Minds" training program held in Bușteni, Romania. Project coordinator Yeliz Sevim and teachers Hatice Şimşek and Fatma Ünal joined educators from Romania, Spain, Italy, Greece, Poland, the Czech Republic and Serbia to discuss employability, digital skills, artificial intelligence and the use of digital tools in teaching. Participants created joint digital teaching materials and presented Turkish regional cuisine and culture during a cultural evening, meeting with the Turkish ambassador to Bucharest and local educational representatives.

In Eskişehir, a second transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ KA210‑ADU project titled "Understanding Adult Roma Needs from an Educational Perspective" was convened with support from the European Union and the Serbian National Agency. Representatives of the Eskişehir Family and Social Services Directorate and the local Roma Education, Culture and Research Association reviewed project activities, set a work plan for the coming period and discussed strategies to improve education and social inclusion for adult Roma communities.
