Turkish drama 'Racconto di una notte' launches on Italy's Canale 5

The Turkish series Bir Gece Masalı, retitled Racconto di una notte for Italian audiences, began airing on Italy’s Canale 5 in prime time in 2026. The show, originally broadcast on Turkey’s ATV from September 2024 to June 2025, follows police inspector Mahir Yılmaz, who returns to his hometown to investigate his father’s murder and falls in love with Canfeza, the daughter of a possible suspect.

The Italian rollout features actors Burak Deniz as Mahir and Su Burcu Yazgı Coşkun as Canfeza, with episodes adapted to a shorter format and made available both on television and via Mediaset Infinity streaming. The series comprises 35 episodes in a single season and has been promoted as a high‑budget, globally popular Turkish “dizi”. A highlighted episode aired on 5 July 2026 includes the arrest of Canfeza, shaking the storyline’s dynamics.
