Turkish drama series Asırlık Gece and Sevdan Bir Ateş reveal casts and filming locations

Actor Murat Aygen, born in 1971 in Diyarbakır, appears as Hakan Fidan in the TRT 1 series Asıllık Gece, a drama recounting the 15 July coup attempt. The show has drawn renewed attention to Aygen’s extensive theatre and screen career, which includes roles in Medcezir, Bodrum Masalı and other Turkish productions.

Show TV’s upcoming series Sevdan Bir Ateş has begun shooting in the Cappadocia region of Turkey. The production, directed by Murat Saraçoğlu and produced by Mehmet Canpolat and Sadi Canpolat, stars Murat Ünalmış as Mirza and Özge Özacar as Leyla, with a supporting cast that includes Sitare Akbaş, Gökçe Eyüboğlu and others. The series follows a passionate, obstacle‑laden love story set against family secrets and revenge.
