Turkish financial institutions and economic forums launch new initiatives

Afyon Kocatepe University (AKU), through its Islamic Economics and Finance Research Center (AKIFAM) and in collaboration with the Participation Banks Association of Turkey (TKBB), has launched the ‘Participation Finance: Transformation, Innovation and Career Training Program’. The initiative aims to increase awareness of the participation finance sector among students and provide internship and employment opportunities. The program features 10 modules led by executives from major institutions including Albaraka Türk, Ziraat Katılım, Vakıf Katılım, Kuveyt Türk, and Türkiye Finans. Successful participants will also be eligible for a technical visit to the Istanbul Financial Center.

In Konya, the ASKON Konya branch hosted a program titled ‘Global Economy in the Process of Change’ featuring economist İslam Memiş. The event focused on analyzing global economic developments, financial market volatility, and investment tools. During the session, ASKON Konya President Yusuf Çimen emphasized the importance of business leaders staying informed about economic shifts and reaffirmed the organization's social stance regarding humanitarian issues in Gaza.
