Turkish financial markets show controlled movement in currency and BIST 100
Financial markets are experiencing a controlled and horizontal trend as investors monitor central bank interest rate policies. In the foreign exchange market, the US Dollar is trading at 48.06 TL, the Euro at 56.22 TL, and the British Pound at 65.61 TL.
On Borsa İstanbul, the BIST 100 index saw a 0.43% decline, settling at 14,396.54 points. While selling pressure in the information technology sector impacted the index, gains in the transportation, construction, and sports sectors helped limit the overall decrease. Technical analysts identify 14,235 points as a key support level and 14,625 points as a resistance level.
In other financial instruments, gram gold increased by 0.58% to reach 7,006.30 TL. Additionally, the Euro/Dollar parity rose by 0.12% to 1.1692.
