Turkish fire crews rescue trapped animals in Malatya and Efeler

In Malatya, the municipal fire department rescued a dog that had become stuck in fresh concrete when a mixer dumped its load. The animal was carefully extracted, examined and taken to the city’s animal shelter, where officials reported it to be in good health. An investigation has been opened to identify the mixer operator and apply any relevant penalties.

In Efeler, Aydın Province, fire crews responded to a blaze that broke out during renovation work at the Perande Shopping Center. Sparks ignited nearby flammable material, but firefighters quickly contained the fire and rescued a cat that was trapped in an apartment. The fire was extinguished before it could spread, and no injuries were reported. Authorities have also launched an inquiry into the cause of the incident.
