Turkish food companies secure major orders at FOODIST İstanbul

Turkish food companies reported significant commercial activity during the FOODIST İstanbul 2026 Food and Beverage Products Fair, held from September 1–4.

Oba Makarnacılık (OBAMS) announced it secured approximately $20 million in new orders through commercial meetings with national and international industry professionals, distributors, and potential partners. The company expects these orders to positively impact future sales revenue and operational performance as production and delivery schedules are met. Oba Makarnacılık also reported consolidated sales revenues of approximately 12.5 billion TL for the first half of 2026.

Matlı Şirketler Grubu participated in the event with its brands Keskinoğlu and Yörsan, showcasing new products to retail and Horeca professionals. The group utilized the platform to strengthen existing partnerships and explore new export opportunities, specifically targeting markets in Africa and the Middle East. The fair hosted over 2,000 international professional buyers and more than 70,000 total visitors from over 50 countries.
