Galatasaray President Targets 27th League Title

Galatasaray club president Dursun Özbek told supporters at an Ankara gala organized by the 1905 Ankara Galatasaraylı Yönetici ve İş İnsanları Derneği that the team’s 27th league championship is "top of the mouth" and hopes to celebrate it in the capital next season. He highlighted Ankara’s special significance for the club and thanked the local association for its support.

Technical director Okan Buruk echoed the ambition, stating the goal of securing the 27th title and praising the club’s recent successes, including a fourth consecutive championship that brought the total to 26 league titles. The club also confirmed plans to extend Buruk’s contract for two more years, signalling continuity as it pursues the upcoming title.

These statements underscore Galatasaray’s focus on maintaining dominance in Turkish football and preparing for the next championship campaign.
