Fenerbahçe targets Can Uzun in potential record transfer

Fenerbahçe has initiated contact with Eintracht Frankfurt regarding the transfer of 20-year-old Turkish national player Can Uzun. The club is looking to secure the midfielder as a potential replacement for Anderson Talisca, whose departure is anticipated.

Fenerbahçe’s interest in Uzun is seen as a strategic move to strengthen their attacking rotation while adhering to domestic player regulations. The transfer could potentially set a club record, as Uzun’s market value is estimated at approximately 45 million euros, though Frankfurt has reportedly requested figures between 50 and 60 million euros.

This move follows previous interest from Galatasaray, who had also pursued the player but were unable to finalize a deal due to Frankfurt’s high valuation. Fenerbahçe’s pursuit is viewed as a significant competitive maneuver against their local rivals.
