Turkish football clubs see local loyalty and global market value growth

Recent data highlights the landscape of Turkish football through both fan loyalty and market valuation. A newly released football map of Turkey shows the most supported teams across 81 provinces. While Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe lead in many cities, including Ankara, Istanbul, and Antalya, several regions show strong local loyalty. Sivasspor is the most supported team in Sivas, while Eskişehirspor leads in Eskişehir and Trabzonspor in Trabzon.

In terms of financial standing, Transfermarkt’s updated player market values place two Turkish clubs within the world’s top 50 most valuable teams. Galatasaray ranks at 37th with a value of 381.5 million euros, and Beşiktaş is ranked 50th with 273.5 million euros. Real Madrid and Manchester City lead the global rankings, both valued at approximately 50 billion euros.
