Turkish football clubs Tuncaspor and Eskişehirspor launch youth and facility initiatives

Edirne‑based Tuncaspor, the city’s oldest football club founded in 1948, resumed activity after a year of inactivity by establishing a summer school for ten children. Former players Murat Yeşilnar, Gökhan Nevarlı and Eren Gal serve as coaches, and the club aims to re‑enter the 2nd Amateur League next season.

The Eskişehirspor 1965 Sports Complex, built in 2012 for the club’s professional players, will now be operated by Tepebaşı Municipality under an internal‑budget model. Mayor Ahmet Ataç described the facility as a “legacy project” intended to nurture amateur sport and honour the club’s history.
