Turkish Football Disciplinary Board issues sanctions following Ankara Demirspor match

The Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) has issued several sanctions following incidents during a TFF 2. Lig Red Group match between Ankara Demirspor and Kahramanmaraş İstiklalspor on October 4, 2026.

AKEDAŞ Kahramanmaraş İstiklalspor has been fined 40,000 TL for “ugly and bad chanting” by its supporters. The board noted that this was the second occurrence of such behavior during home matches within the same season, citing Article 53/2 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions.

Additionally, KCT 1461 Trabzon FK assistant coach Cemre Civelek has received a seven-match ban prohibiting entry to the dressing room and technical area. The sanction was imposed due to “insults directed at the match referee” during the same fixture. The club has filed an appeal against the severity of the penalty.
