Muğlaspor prepares for first home match at Muğla Atatürk Stadium
Muğlaspor is preparing to host its first home match of the Trendyol 1. Lig season at the Muğla Atatürk Stadium following extensive facility upgrades. Due to ongoing maintenance, the club played its first five matches in Bodrum, but the stadium is now ready to host Vanspor FK.
Local officials, including Muğla Governor Dr. İdris Akbıyık, have inspected the completed works, which include improvements to the pitch, lighting, stands, and administrative areas. The upcoming match against Vanspor FK will mark the first time in the club's history that they play a professional 1. Lig match at night under the new lighting system.
Muğlaspor technical director Yalçın Koşukavak noted that while the team is working on cohesion following a large number of new transfers, the return to their home city provides a significant boost. He has called upon local supporters to fill the stands to provide an atmosphere that can help the team secure three points.
