Turkish Gendarmerie Chief Ali Çardakcı Visits 15 July Martyrs Association

General Ali Çardakcı, commander of Turkey’s Gendarmerie, paid a formal visit to the 15 July Democracy Martyrs, Veterans and Terror Victims Association. During the meeting he spoke with the association’s president, Abbas Gündüz, and expressed personal and institutional support for the families of the July 15 coup‑attempt victims.

Çardakcı highlighted the continued “spirit of 15 July,” praising the dedication of security forces and reaffirming the state’s commitment to democracy, national will and the protection of the Republic. Gündüz thanked the commander for his close attention to the families, describing his approach as a sign of the state’s loyalty and gratitude toward those who sacrificed for the nation.
