Turkish General Directorate of Highways announces property sales and expropriations

The Turkish General Directorate of Highways (KGM) has announced two separate legal and administrative actions regarding real estate in the regions of Şırnak and Hatay.

In Şırnak, the 9th Regional Directorate of the General Directorate of Highways is auctioning a field located in the Çatalköy neighborhood of Cizre. The auction, conducted via a closed bid process, is scheduled for November 2, 2026. The estimated value for the property is 84,074,445.00 TRY.

In Hatay, the İskenderun 3rd Civil Court of First Instance is processing expropriation cases initiated by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. These expropriations are intended for the construction and maintenance of the İskenderun-Topboğazı Highway, the Antakya Connection Road, and the İskenderun-Belen-Topboğazı State Road. The affected areas include villages and neighborhoods within the Belen, Kırıkhan, and Antakya districts.
