Turkish local officials conduct community visits and unveil major municipal projects

Mayors and governors across Turkey held a series of on‑site meetings with residents, listening to local concerns and presenting development plans. Bursa’s Osmangazi Mayor Erkan Aydın visited Doğancı neighbourhood, emphasizing equal services for all villages. In eastern Iğdır, Governor M. Fırat Taşolar toured Tuzluca, meeting citizens and distributing school supplies. Kayseri’s Metropolitan Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç inspected water‑supply works in Develi and Yahyalı, highlighting new pipelines serving remote hamlets. Çorum Mayor Dr Halil İbrahim Aşgın organized a “City Meeting” in Akkent, fulfilling children’s requests for recreational activities and cultural visits. Samsun Governor Orhan Tavlı announced a 144 billion‑lira investment package covering 417 projects, including hospitals, roads, industrial zones and security upgrades, and later inspected a revived textile plant in Alaçam. Konya Governor İbrahim Akın inspected grain‑procurement operations in Sarayönü during the harvest season, meeting farmers to address their needs. Konya Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay reviewed the Keçili Canal drainage works, stressing its importance for flood protection. These coordinated efforts illustrate a nationwide push by local authorities to improve infrastructure, services and economic opportunities while maintaining direct dialogue with citizens.
