Turkish Highways report road closures and controlled traffic

The General Directorate of Highways has announced several traffic adjustments across various routes due to ongoing construction, maintenance, and repair works. Drivers are advised to slow down and follow all traffic signs and signals in these areas.

Key affected locations include:

• Ankara: The Eskişehir direction of the Ankara Ring Road (kilometers 10-11) is closed for superstructure repairs; traffic is being managed in both directions from the Samsun direction.

• Aydın: On the Aydın-Denizli Highway (kilometers 0-1), the right and middle lanes in the Aydın direction are closed, with traffic moving through the left lane.

• Edirne: On the O-3 Highway, the Edirne direction will be closed in sections at the Babaeski-Havsa junctions for superstructure renewal, with traffic flowing two-way from the opposite direction.

• Other regions: Controlled traffic is in effect in Sivas, Kahramanmaraş, Sakarya, Konya, Antalya, Malatya, and Çorum due to asphalt surfacing, tunnel maintenance, and other infrastructure projects.
