Turkish industrial zones and universities strengthen cooperation

Industrial zones in Manisa and Kütahya are enhancing partnerships with local universities to better prepare students for the workforce and the green transition.

In Manisa, the EmpowerED project, supported by a 250,000 euro EU Erasmus+ grant, aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and industrial practice. The initiative involves Manisa Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) and Manisa Celal Bayar University. The project focuses on teaching green transformation processes through field experiences and an e-learning platform accessible to both students and industry employees.

In Kütahya, Kütahya Organized Industrial Zone and Kütahya Dumlupınar University have implemented programs focused on personal awareness and career planning. These seminars aim to help students identify their strengths, set professional goals, and develop the practical competencies, such as problem-solving and communication, required in the modern business environment.
