Turkish law enforcement captures fugitive and seizes narcotics

Law enforcement agencies in Turkey have conducted separate operations resulting in the capture of a fugitive and a significant drug seizure.

In Şırnak, provincial gendarmerie teams apprehended an individual following a tip-off. Investigations revealed the suspect had a finalized prison sentence of 50 years, 2 months, and 15 days. The individual has been transferred to the Şırnak T Type Closed Penal Institution.

In Kilis, narcotics operations conducted by the Kilis Provincial Gendarmerie Command in Hisar village led to the discovery of 40.5 kilograms of kubar cannabis and 65 cannabis plants ranging from 2 to 3 meters in height. One suspect was detained during the search.
