Turkish Mayors Conduct Neighborhood Meetings in Bursa and Dulkadiroğlu

In the Dulkadiroğlu district of Kahramanmaraş, deputy mayor Latif Öztürk chaired a town‑hall meeting in Yenişehir Mahallesi with council members, municipal officials and many residents. The forum reviewed the neighbourhood’s current conditions and outlined planned works, including the renovation of Şehit Savcı Gül Park and Mehmetçik Park, the creation of a mosque and library under a new protocol, and landscaping and paving around Şıhmat Yusuf Camii.

Separately, in İnegöl, Bursa Province, Mayor Alper Taban met with citizens of Ertuğrulgazi Mahallesi. The gathering, part of the mayor’s “citizen‑question, mayor‑answer” programme, allowed locals to raise concerns and suggestions on municipal services. Taban emphasised a participatory approach, thanked participants and provided traditional sweets to mark the month of Muharram.
