Mayors in Konya, Kayseri and Kars hold 'Citizen Questions, Mayor Answers' town meetings

Selçuklu district mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı (Konya) met residents in the Şeyh Şamil and Mehmet Akif neighbourhoods, explaining recent municipal investments and answering questions. He stressed that "any request from citizens is our primary duty" and highlighted the city's fiscal discipline and self‑financed projects.

In Kayseri’s Melikgazi district, mayor Doç. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, joined by provincial and city party leaders, gathered locals from Köşk and Gültepe. He outlined completed works such as a new mosque, health centre, library and the restoration of the historic Köşk Medrese, and discussed upcoming education and community facilities.

Akyaka (Kars) mayor Ergüder Toptaş also hosted a similar "Vatandaş Soruyor, Başkan Cevaplıyor" session, fielding concerns on infrastructure, environmental improvements, social projects and transport. He highlighted the importance of transparent dialogue and pledged continued investment to make the district more livable.
