Mayor Mustafa Palancıoğlu outlines Melikgazi's extensive municipal investments

Mayor Mustafa Palancıoğlu of Melikgazi held a "Citizen Asks, Mayor Answers" session in the Yeniköy neighbourhood, meeting residents to hear their requests and provide responses. He highlighted that Melikgazi is the Turkish municipality that has built the most schools, mosques, Quran courses, health centres, parks and libraries, operates without debt or interest payments, and leads the country in urban‑transformation projects, now numbering 13 across eight districts.

Palancıoğlu also announced ongoing horizontal‑architecture projects in Altınoluk and the upcoming second project in Mimarsinan, emphasizing a governance approach based on collective consultation and "gönül belediyeciliği" (heart‑centered municipal service).
