The Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has announced significant grant funding for rural development projects in Sivas and Bayburt through the Rural Development Investment Support Program (KKYDP).
In Sivas, a record 337 million TL in grants has been allocated to support 121 projects with a total investment value of over 615 million TL. The funding is divided into two main categories: 320 million TL for livestock and technology—covering 86 projects including cattle farming, beekeeping, and AI-based production monitoring—and approximately 17 million TL for 35 projects focused on efficient water use and solar-powered irrigation systems.
In Bayburt, 99.9 million TL in grants will support 221 different projects under the 17th stage of the program. These investments aim to modernize agricultural infrastructure, increase production capacity, and encourage technological transformation through the procurement of modern machinery and equipment.
