Turkish Ministry Backs Alaçatı’s Goldwing Treffen and Windfest

The Alaçatı Tourism Association, after nearly two years of coordination with Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, secured official support for two upcoming international events: the Goldwing International Treffen and the Alaçatı Windfest. The ministry’s backing places both festivals on the GoTurkey promotion platform, alongside major events such as Formula 1 races and global concerts, and will involve professional production crews from the Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency to film and produce content for international digital channels.

Association chairman Kerem Ünsal said the support highlights Alaçatı’s potential as an international tourism destination and will help promote the town year‑round, aiming to attract tens of thousands of visitors and boost tourism revenues. Plans for 2027 include adding further high‑profile events to sustain the region’s growth.
