Turkish universities receive TYÇ logo rights for quality assurance

During the 21st Ordinary General Assembly of the Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK), 30 Turkish universities were awarded the right to use the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) logo. This recognition follows the successful completion of quality assurance processes for various higher education programs.

Minister of Labour and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan emphasized that the TYÇ logo serves as a marker of quality, transparency, and international recognizability. The framework, which was referenced to the European Qualifications Framework in 2017, aims to make graduates' competencies more comparable and understandable abroad, thereby strengthening the link between education and the labor market.

Several institutions were highlighted for their achievements. Gaziantep University (GAÜN) entered the top 20 in Turkey with 33 programs holding the logo. Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University (TOGÜ) also secured a place in the top 20, with all 36 of its accredited programs receiving the right to use the logo. Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (MSKÜ) and Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMÜ) were also among the 30 universities recognized for their commitment to quality standards.
