Turkish-Moroccan Chamber of Commerce and Industry launches in Casablanca

The Turkish-Moroccan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CTCIM) officially launched its activities in Casablanca on September 8. The launch event brought together diplomats, institutional representatives, and business leaders to foster stronger economic ties between Morocco and Turkey.

According to CTCIM President Musa Tangören, bilateral trade volume has reached approximately $6 billion, with more than 300 Turkish companies currently operating in Morocco. Notable examples include the group BIM, which employs over 7,000 people in the country.

The Chamber’s roadmap focuses on three strategic pillars: investment, production, and networking. To achieve these goals, the CTCIM plans to organize B2B meetings, trade missions, seminars, and webinars. The organization aims to leverage Turkey’s connections to Europe, Asia, and the Gulf, alongside Morocco’s strategic access to Africa and the Atlantic, to facilitate expansion into third-party markets.
