Turkish Muaythai Athletes Lead Blood Donation Drive and Gain Business Backing

World champion muaythai athlete Ahmet Ertekin and national team head coach Yasin Urlu participated in a blood‑donation event at the Antalyaspor Sports Hall in Antalya. Organized every three months since 2021 in cooperation with the Turkish Red Crescent, the drive marked its 20th edition and called on citizens to donate regularly, emphasizing that a single donation can save a life.

Businessman and Turkish nationalist Ibrahim Murat Gündüz publicly supported female muaythai athlete Melis Nazlıcan Talun ahead of her bout in the EMF Euro Elite Muaythai League against Germany’s Kassandra Thöne. Gündüz praised the athlete as a symbol of the Turkish nation’s honor and urged her to fight for the country’s pride in the ring.
