Turkish municipal authorities launch hiring drives for operators and firefighters

Kahramanmaraş Büyükşehir Belediyesi, through its subsidiary AKBEL A.Ş., announced the recruitment of 14 equipment operators—cylinder, grader and excavator operators—for positions in the city center and northern districts (Afşin, Ekinözü, Elbistan, Nurhak). Applications are accepted online from 12 June to 14 June 2026.

Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi published a separate recruitment notice for 197 civil‑service posts under the 657 law. The hiring includes 122 fire‑brigade personnel and 75 technical and administrative staff such as engineers, computer operators and health technicians. Applications will be submitted via the e‑Devlet portal between 22 June and 28 June 2026, with eligibility criteria covering education, age, driver's licence and exam scores.
