Turkish municipal councils hold July meetings in Turgutlu and Bodrum

The Turgutlu municipal council scheduled a regular meeting for 7 July at 18:00, to discuss five agenda items. Topics include reviewing the minutes of the June 2026 council, authorising a sister‑city agreement with Kriva Palanka in North Macedonia, hiring two architects as full‑time staff, and transferring a parcel of land to Manisa Metropolitan Municipality for use as a cemetery.

In Bodrum, Mayor Tamer Mandalinci met with local muhtars after the July council session. The gathering reviewed neighbourhood needs and introduced the Bodrum Neighborhood Academy, a training program running from June 2026 to June 2027 that will cover leukemia awareness, first‑aid, AI and other subjects for muhtars and community officials.
