Turkish municipalities advance urban park and green space projects

Municipalities in Turkey are advancing several urban green space projects. In Trabzon, the Metropolitan Municipality is renovating the 100. Yıl Park in the Ortahisar district. Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç reported that the project is 65% complete and is expected to open before the end of the year. The redesigned park will feature sea views, children's play areas, social spaces, approximately 50 barbecue kamelyas, a large restaurant area, and parking facilities.

In Adıyaman, the municipality has completed its 25th park project with support from the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality. The new 3,500-square-meter Denizli Park in the Karapınar neighborhood is scheduled to open on September 17. The facility includes new-generation children's play groups, outdoor fitness areas, walking paths, and green spaces. Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere stated that three additional parks are currently in the final stages of construction.
