Turkish municipalities announce major real estate and advertising tenders

Turkish municipalities in Gaziantep and Bursa have announced significant tenders for real estate and advertising rights.

Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality is auctioning eight properties located in the Şehitkamil and Şahinbey districts. The total estimated value of these assets is approximately 669.8 million TL. The properties, which include commercial areas and residential plots, will be sold via closed bids. The first round of auctions is scheduled for September 16, 2026, with a second round following on September 23, 2026.

In Bursa, the Metropolitan Municipality is launching a large-scale tender for the operation of advertising units and the addition of new urban furniture. The estimated monthly value of the contract is 5.8 million TL (excluding VAT), representing a total economic volume of 696 million TL over a ten-year term. The tender is set for September 16, 2026, and requires participating companies to meet strict financial and technical criteria, including a minimum capital structure of 50 million TL.
