Turkey announces large-scale public sector recruitment drives

Various Turkish government institutions and universities are conducting large-scale recruitment for contracted personnel across multiple sectors.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has concluded applications for 1,874 positions, including engineers, veterinarians, and support staff, to be distributed across 81 provinces. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Justice is processing applications for 15,000 personnel, such as court clerks and security officers, with oral exam results expected by August 17, 2026.

In the academic sector, 16 universities are currently recruiting 2,113 staff members, including nurses, technicians, and engineers. Additionally, the Konya Metropolitan Municipality has opened applications for 10 civil servant positions requiring specific KPSS scores and language proficiency, with oral exams scheduled for late August.
