Turkish municipalities announce new public sector job openings

Municipalities in Turkey have announced new public sector job openings for various technical and service roles.

In Nevşehir, the Ortahisar Municipality is recruiting one architect under the Civil Servants Law No. 657. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in architecture, have a minimum KPSS P3 score of 80 from the 2024 exam, and possess at least an E level proficiency in English (YDS) or an equivalent international certificate. A Class B driver's license is also required. Applications will be accepted from September 30 to October 2, 2026, via the municipality's official website, in person, or by registered mail.

In Kırşehir, the Mucur Municipality is hiring two firefighters, one male and one female. The male position requires a minimum KPSS P94 score of 65 and a Class C driver's license, while the female position requires a minimum score of 60 and a Class B driver's license. Candidates must meet specific physical requirements, including height and weight standards, and must not have phobias related to enclosed spaces, narrow areas, or heights. Applications are open from October 5 to October 8, 2026.
