Turkish municipalities announce various asset auctions and sales

Various Turkish municipalities are conducting auctions for real estate, vehicles, and rental agreements. These include property sales by İkiköprü, Yenişehir, Perşembe, and Alaca municipalities, as well as rental tenders for restaurant spaces and land in Karacasu. Additionally, the Trabzon Kanuni Training and Research Hospital is auctioning a small area for vending machines.

In Edirne, the Municipal Council is holding an extraordinary meeting to authorize Mayor Filiz Gencan to use municipal properties as collateral to restructure Social Security Institution (SGK) debts.

Separately, the official vehicle of Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet, the suspended Mayor of İzmit, has been listed for sale online. Hürriyet was arrested following an investigation by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into allegations of forming a criminal organization, bribery, and bid-rigging. The 2013 Mercedes-Benz Viano, which features a license plate reading ‘06 CHP 40’, is being offered for 985,000 TL. The sale follows Hürriyet’s recent departure from the CHP to join the YENİ Party while in custody.
