Turkish municipalities conclude summer youth sports programs

Municipalities in Turkey have concluded their summer sports programs for children and youth through various ceremonies.

In Bozcaada, the Bozcaada Municipality Summer Children's Sports Program ended with a certificate ceremony. The initiative, which lasted over two months, focused on both athletic activity and physical development. Instructors conducted comparative measurements of agility, speed, running, jumping, and flexibility at the start and end of the program. Detailed development reports were provided to families to inform them of their children's progress and areas for improvement.

In Altıeylül, the Altıeylül Summer Sports Schools held a closing ceremony attended by local officials, including Mayor Hakan Şehirli. The event featured Super Lig referees Oğuzhan Çakır and Adnan Deniz Kayatepe, who shared professional experiences and advice with young athletes. The program emphasized that sports contribute to discipline, teamwork, self-confidence, and social development alongside physical fitness.
