Turkish municipalities expand service fleets for infrastructure and sanitation

Municipalities in Turkey are expanding their service fleets to improve local infrastructure and sanitation services.

In Onikişubat, the municipality has invested approximately 200 million TL to introduce 30 new service vehicles. This expansion aims to address the needs of a growing population and the reconstruction efforts following recent earthquakes, specifically targeting rural neighborhoods and new residential areas. Mayor Hanifi Toptaş noted that the municipality is working to support a population of 450,000 during the city's recovery process.

Similarly, the Yüreğir Municipality has added four new vehicles to its fleet, including three compactor garbage trucks and one backhoe loader. These additions are intended to increase the capacity of cleaning operations and field works managed by the Directorate of Science Affairs, allowing for faster and more efficient service delivery.
