Turkish municipalities host educational and cultural activities for children

Various municipalities in Turkey are hosting educational and cultural activities for children through local community centers and parks.

In Trabzon, the Çilekli Düşler Köyü Yaşam Merkezi, operated by the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, hosted students from Maçka Ce-Zi-Ne Kardeşler Primary School. The program included agricultural activities such as bean harvesting, nature exploration with magnifying glasses, and science workshops covering topics like volcanoes, magnetism, and the water cycle. The center also hosted students with special needs from Ortahisar Special Education Application School for tailored activities including birdhouse making and fire awareness training.

In Manisa, students and parents from the Gölmarmara Municipality Children's Culture Center visited Şehzadelerpark, hosted by the Şehzadeler Municipality. The guided tour included the Miniaşehzadeler area, which features models of the city's cultural heritage, and the Dioramic Mesir Museum. The visit concluded at Masalpark, an interactive area featuring cartoon characters, aimed at increasing awareness of local history and cultural identity among young participants.
