Turkish municipalities in Balıkesir and Ortahisar expand cultural services for citizens

Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality announced that its museums and the Tourism Promotion Office will be open daily from 09:00 to 19:00, aiming to make the city’s historical, artistic and natural exhibits more accessible to residents and visitors. The schedule change applies to venues such as the Balıkesir Liseli Keşşaflar Museum, Devrim Erbil Contemporary Arts Museum, Atatürk and Seyit Onbaşı Museum, among others.

In Ortahisar, the local government supported the Trabzon Culture Road Festival by offering free shuttle services, complimentary tea, water and food, and continuous cleaning of the event area. Festival attendees praised the measures, and Mayor Ahmet Kaya highlighted the municipality’s commitment to social services and citizen satisfaction.
