Turkish municipalities launch new social and cultural infrastructure projects

Municipalities in Turkey have launched new local development projects aimed at enhancing social and cultural infrastructure.

In Arnavutköy, the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Millet Bahçesi has broken ground. Spanning approximately 35,000 square meters, the project is designed to integrate education, culture, sports, and social life. Planned facilities include a nursery, a public library, social facilities, a restaurant, a cultural center, and a mosque. The park will also feature a children's playground, a basketball court, a skate park, a quiet garden, an amphitheater, and a viewing terrace, all supported by walking and cycling paths.

In the Bahçeli district of Gümüşhane, three major projects have commenced construction. The centerpiece is the 10,000-square-meter Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Yaşam Alanı (Living Area). This development will include a new municipal service building and the Dr. Devlet Bahçeli Wedding and Organization Hall, which is expected to exceed 1,000 square meters. These projects aim to modernize municipal services and provide a central hub for social gatherings and community events.
